About me
From leaving school at 16 and working as a bricklayer's laborer to pursuing a passion for opera, and then navigating a 25-year IT career (including a decade teaching Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence, and coaching at Google), my life has been a journey of transformation.
Authenticity has been the constant thread. My own experience with burnout became a pivotal moment, leading me to discover the power of mindfulness and my passion for coaching. For over 10 years, I've been helping others navigate their own transformations, finding clarity, purpose, and a deeper connection to their authentic selves.
Where are you on your journey? I'd be honored to support you in taking the next step.
Mindfulness for Real-World Challenges: Training with Vidyamala Birch, OBE
Mindfulness has been a cornerstone of my work and life. I trained under Vidyamala Birch, OBE, a pioneering mindfulness teacher and founder of Breathworks, known for transforming how people relate to pain, stress, and difficulty. Her emphasis on resilience, acceptance, and compassion has deeply influenced my approach.
Through mindfulness-based coaching, I offer practical tools to help you meet life’s challenges with clarity and calm. Whether you’re navigating physical discomfort, emotional stress, or high-pressure leadership roles, mindfulness builds resilience, cultivates presence, and empowers you to make aligned, skillful decisions—even in the face of uncertainty.
Running The Desert
In 2013, I completed the Marathon des Sables—a seven-day ultramarathon across the Sahara Desert. I first read about this race in the book Survival of the Fittest by Dr. Mike Stroud, and I vividly remember thinking, I want to do that. With just nine months to train and a starting point of only 18 miles, the race tested every ounce of my endurance and mental strength. Carrying all my supplies on my back and navigating intense heat, it became one of the best weeks of my life. I felt so alive, so real—so fully me. I discovered something profound: we are capable of far more than we think.
This experience taught me that true growth happens when we step beyond the safe confines of our comfort zones and connect with the untapped potential and unique brilliance within us. It’s a reminder to ask: What does it mean to fully be myself?
This realization shapes my coaching philosophy. Real transformation isn’t about becoming someone you’re not—it’s about uncovering the fullest expression of who you already are. Whether you’re navigating leadership challenges, seeking clarity, or striving for personal growth, my role is to guide and support you in stepping into your truest self, with clarity, intention, and resilience.
